About Our Artists                    ack

Bobby Burke - I'm the type of artist that if I can not create my soul aches.  My creations may be done with pen and ink, pastels, watercolors, oils or photography.  My work is supervised by my four studio cats " Nicki, Wuvey, Annie, and Stinkey".  The cats are just as bohemian as I am and that makes a good relationship for a very creative life.

Lessons in pastel, watercolor, drawing, oil painting, and pen and ink. Class is $15.00 hr. and you can take one or two hour classes- you choose. Please contact Bobby Burke by e-mail  at

Cameron Kyle - I am a North Western artist with a South Eastern feel. Line and space help me share the images that exist with in the void of my mind. Mixed media, degeneration, and hand work are littered through out my pieces. I have been heavily influenced by chaotic northern Catholic art as well as, minimalist Zen Buddhist ink painting. I combined and compose all of these ideas through the lenses of my camera, to capture the light and shadows that have made up my perception of
reality.

Josh Lynn - This little project/ test has lead to the creation of a full line of case goods on the same principal with varying angles. Working with wood allows me to create living objects.

Derrick Oldham
- My life is my influence for my art. The macabre and horrific fascinate me and I always seem to find the meaning in chaos. Since I was 4 I have strived to become a better artist and now 20 years later I am still just as interested as the first day I picked up a pencil . An Iwata Hp airbrush is my tool of choice. I specialize in portaits and can paint just about anything if requested. Enjoy my work!

Marsha Sanders - My eclectic tastes and bohemian tendencies continue to influence my artwork. Whether I use acrylics, watercolors, oils, mixed media, digital and traditional photography, or creating with textiles, I allow the inspiration and desire to dictate the medium and the processes.

Ben Shatkin - Welcome to my world of the obscure. I use various types of mediums to express my art.

Courtney Wooten
-
Since childhood, I've been interested in art.  I used my high school art classes to sharpen my skill and then earned a BFA in Art with a concentration in Painting from the University of Texas at Arlington.  I  lived in Florence, Italy for part of a summer and felt starstruck to be up close and personal with the architecture and art of some of the greatest minds of all time.  I not only developed my talent, I learned more about myself and what inspires me as an artist.

My inspiration comes in varieties; it can be the way light hits the rim of a glass, the striking reds on a flower, how another artists unites color with texture and shape.  Every day, something strikes me and drives me to carry it out through art.  I mostly work in acrylic which I've done on canvas, wood and a variety of heavy papers and my next favorite medium is watercolor.  I sometimes paint in oils, too.  I've worked in other mediums including clay, metal and photography.  One of my favorite things about painting is using color to convey light, shape or shadow.  I'm very interested in color relativity and use paint, pastels or pencils to express my interest.  I'm also very interested in shape and design and lately have used such as a more dominant presence in my work, as I'm constantly trying to push myself to try something new and continue my learning journey.
